The Bridgemakers Project is up and running in Oxford, UK. It will grow in your area if you decide to join, either as a volunteer coordinator or as a participant.

We will be updating the map above as Bridgemakers develops, so you can see if there are Bridgemakers in your town, and the contact details of your coordinator. If there are no Bridgemakers in your locality, e-mail us or get in touch and we’ll see how to go about setting one up.

I was thrilled with the idea when it was explained, as it seemed a much more natural way to get to know people than to chat at an open meeting for a few minutes. It wasn't difficult to find members of our community who were keen to meet and share experiences with others living in Oxford but following different paths to God. We thoroughly enjoyed the chance to get to know more about the Quakers by sharing hospitality in each others houses and found so many preconceptions turned upside down and are really looking forward to learning more about life through the eyes of friends from other religions.
